Jitae is for the 6th dan. The line of movement as well as the symbol represent a man looking to the sky. The Kukkiwon text describes the meaning of Jitae as a struggle for existence. Other sources describe the meaning as humans being the connection between heaven and earth.
This poomsae has a combination of very slow movements, mixed in with very strong and sharp movements.
To represent a mood of struggle, I put the piece in a minor key, with a slow meditation for the first 27 seconds, then switching to a quick pace as the poomsae does the same at 28 seconds, to the end. It eventually changes to a major key in the last section, which represents hope within the struggle through life. Jitae beats per minute varies from 84 to 120. 1 minute, 18 seconds.
